How to dress for Spring
The goal of this post is to showcase a few easy outfits that anyone can wear, and outfits that can be worn in multiple ways multiple times because we believe in getting the most use out of the clothes that you buy. Each outfit will have a link for you to click on and a product to purchase.
Step 1: Keeping it basic with a bodysuit
Basics are the foundation of any well put together wardrobe, so always having a seasonal basic piece that you can wear time after time in numerous ways is important. For this Spring season I am featuring a basic white bodysuit because it is a wonderful layering piece but it can also be worn plain and simple as a shirt. Having solid colors incorporated into your wardrobe will give you the best use and wear as they can always be worn no matter trends change and evolve. Link
Tip: style it with jeans and a cardigan and you have a whole outfit with little to none effort put in. Try out one of our Spring bodysuits for less than $30.
Step 2: Find a Spring Knit
Hey, it isn't Summer yet, and maybe it is just me because I live in New England and wearing tank tops everyday in Spring is just not going to cut it. I always find myself wearing sweaters far into those Spring months and I believe finding a lightweight knit sweater is essential for your wardrobe. Try to find a sweater in a bright or Spring color and stray as far away from those Winter colors as possible. Link
Tip: Style it with shorts for a cute yet staying cozy look. Check out this full lace up sweater we have in two different Spring colors.
Step 3: Staying Floral is the moral.
Yes it is the moral and a print that will never get old is florals all over. A floral dress is a must have for everyone. For those Sunny weekends and trips to the farmers markets or as a guest to a Spring wedding. Just a rule of thumb is don't be ashamed to wear it over and over. Link
Tip: Wear it casually with sandals or even converse! Dress it up with some slingback heels.
Step 4: Off the shoulder
Spring is a time to let those shoulders breathe and be free at last. This is a trend I am finally starting to really love. These tops can be styled in any way you please but one fact is we all need at least one in our wardrobe. The one we are featuring is super cute because of the lace detailing at the top; it gives off a bohemian vibe and is the perfect top to wear to a festival. Link
Tip: wear one with jeans and heels or shorts and sandals.
Step 5: In Spring we wear pink
We don't just wear pinks on Wednesday's anymore; we wear them everyday! Having solid pastels in your wardrobe is another way to increase the wear and use you will get, because of the many ways they can be layered and styled. A pink pastel screams Spring and we love it so much. Link
Tip: Find a pink blouse with slight detailing such as embroidery and you have a top to style with jeans or shorts! #OOTD.
